For those who are wondering, no the sealant doesn't freeze, doesn't alter the balance of the wheel, and can work in any kind of tubeless tire when combined with a UST or tubeless-ready rim. If you have a standard clincher wheelset, bear in mind that you'll still need to prep your wheels with a tubeless conversion kit before taking advantage of this sealant. The Best

When used as directed, Stan's sealant handles business without complaint. I've tried a bunch of the other sealants over the past few years, and nothing seems to work as well.

Stans vs Orange Seal

There are really only 2 products that I have used with success in tubeless setups. Stans and Orange Seal. I personally think they both are 5 stars as they both execute a good seal with tubeless setups. In my experience Stans seals up nicely and is reliable, however, needs to be replaced more frequently than Orange Seal. Orange Seal is more expensive but lasts longer in the tire. If you get a flat and the stuff gets anywhere on your frame it's super tough to clean off, which is a good testament to how this stuff seals up in a tire. One other difference between Stans and Orange Seal is Stans will produce sealant goblins and tires are a pain to clean out, Orange seal settles over time and will peel out with much less effort. Good things on both products but make sure you choose one or the other as you don't want to blend them.

Stan's rules

    I love Stan's and it's the best. I know there's another brand but I wouldn't use it because Stan's is so good. Well, I might try another brand, but I love Stan's and it's the best.

    Been using Stan's for years, it is the staple for all tubeless riding in my opinion! I gave this to a buddy as a gift. Not sure he knew what he was doing....was running that green slim stuff in his tires....way too thick! " I don't know what wrong man, I've had 4 flats in the last week?!" As he is changing his tire putting in a tube removing the old from prior week flats. Whats that grease allover you tube? I'm running that slime stuff? No Bro! I'll get ya what ya need.....needless to say.....NO MORE FLATS! Do it!

    Great stuff, keeps you rolling

      All you need is a valve core tool, a syringe, and the sealant to maintain the proper amount in your tires. I just pull the core. Pull the plunger out of the syringe and place in the valve stem, and pour about an Oz in the syringe. Gravity does its part (no plunger needed). Replace the valve core and pump up the tire. All done, get back out there. I love seeing the little wet spots after a desert ride because I know Stan's is working.
