Stan's NoTubes Injector

While tire sealant has changed the way we ride, it can be a hassle to install. The Stan's NoTubes Injector aims to change that. The graduated, two-ounce injector makes application of sealant simple, with no mess or waste. You can use it to transfer sealant from one tire to another, or use it to inject sealant through the valve stem. It features a dual thread adapter that fits both Presta and Schrader valves.

Response to review on Presta valve

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This item isnt perfect, but it does its job. In order for this product to work properly, you need to remove the actual valve from the valve stem. The valve screws in and out of the valve stem. When the valve is removed from the stem, this product easily attaches to the valve stem to insert the proper amount of sealant. Then unscrew this product, re-insert the valve, add air, and you're all set.

NOT COMPATIBLE W/ Stan's Race Sealant

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I did not see this until it arrived in the mail and it is printed on the box! If I had known I would never have bought it--yes I am looking for an easy way to get this done! It's on the box and perhaps its a CYA that it is in the pictures but really does anyone have to take a close-up look of the pictures on this product??? Why not just list in the description???

New version doesn't fit Presta Valve

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I received this in July and just tried to use it. The product I received had a plastic adapter at the end of the small diameter tube, not the brass valve pictured. The plastic valve's threads do not screw onto presta valves. It just slides over, so it is loose the sealant leaks out when you 'plunge' it in. Also, if you use Orange Seal instead of Stan's, the little 'glitter' flakes in the orange seal get stuck in the small diameter of the plastic adapter. Bring back the brass!
