ZTR Flow EX 26in Wheelset - Discontinued Decal

This version of Stan's NoTubes Flow EX Wheelset is really making a stand against unnecessary change. Not only does it refuse to succumb to the Benjamin-esque angel of innovation by adding inches to its diameter, but it's also refusing the artificial, purely-aesthetic update of new decals. While we don't mind the decals on the newer ZTR Flow EX wheels, these older models splash a bit more red across the rims, which nicely highlights the wheels' lively, aggressive ride.

Despite the outdated graphics, these rims feature all the upgrades of the latest round of material redesigns to hit the Flow EX line. This includes the more robust width of 29.1 millimeters, externally, and 25.5 millimeters, internally, and sidewalls and spoke beds that are 14% and 33% thicker, respectively. These dimensional changes come with a corresponding bump in durability, which puts the ZTR Flow Ex wheels at the top end of Stan's durability hierarchy. They also complement the redesigned Bead Socket Technology, further emphasizing the secure tubeless tire-to-rim seal while also increasing tire volume, handling through corners and climbs, and grip for power transfer.

The rims use the same 6061 aluminum, 32 eyelet-free spokes, and 2.0/1.7/2.0 butted steel spokes and alloy nipples as the current model. They also incorporate the same smooth-spinning chromoly cartridge bearings, lightweight 7075 alloy axles, aluminum freehub, and 58 millimeter front and rear flanges. The drive side houses a hardened 30-point engagement ring, while the non-drive side is machined to reduce weight.

The wheels are compatible with Shimano and SRAM cassettes, and a SRAM XD 1x freehub body is available separately. Stan's rim tape and valve stems are pre-installed for instant use — just add tires, sealant, and air.
