Flow EX 27.5in Wheelset

The Stan's NoTubes Flow EX 27.5in Wheelset builds on the multiple World Championship and World Cup winning ZTR Flow with a wider profile and lowered, thickened sidewalls for even more durability than its venerable predecessor. Designed to resist damage from big hits and tackle the most technical trails at speed, this wheelset is one of the more versatile sets of all-mountain trail hoops on the market and comes with the added bonus of Stan's unbeatable tubeless reliability.

Touted as a bombproof trail, all-mountain, and enduro wheelset, the Flow EX features a wide 25.5mm internal rim width and 29.1mm outer width to provide a solid platform for your tire of choice. The Flow EX incorporates Stan's Bead Socket Technology (BST), featuring notably low profile sidewalls that allow the tire bead to seat more effectively and leads to a heap of benefits compared to standard rims with higher sidewalls. BST results in an exceptional tubeless seal while also allowing the tire to hold greater air volume than standard rims that place the bead 2-4mm below the edge. This interface allows the tire to maintain its full shape for a wider, more stable rolling platform compared to the same tire mounted on a standard rim.

Pairing BST with the ability to run up to 30% lower air pressure than on a standard clincher wheel results in more stability, better handling, solid cornering, and better overall control. These rims are also compatible with standard tubes, and the lower sidewall drastically reduces pinch flat risk by reducing the amount of material present for the tube to pinch against. This means less time bunkered down in the dust wrestling with flats and more time shredding your favorite loops.

Stan's laces the Flow EX rims to its all-new Neo OS hub set, which features oversized, smooth-spinning bearings that glide on a strong, stiff, swaged axle. The Neo holds the bearings at a wider stance for a claimed threefold increase in strength compared to standard hub designs and utilizes four precision pawls that simultaneously engage a forged steel 36t ratchet ring for snappy, ten-degree engagement. Stan's builds in its new SealLock end caps for easy installation and Slip-Fit axle ends for easy conversion.

The Stan's NoTubes Flow EX 27.5in Wheelset comes complete with Stan's yellow rim tape and valves already installed for tubeless use — just add your favorite tubeless-ready tire, Stan's award-winning sealant, and air. Each wheelset includes endcaps for both 15mm and 20mm axles. Please note that these endcaps are only compatible with the Neo OS hubs, and are not compatible with standard Neo hubs.
