Stan's NoTubes continues to define the grading curve for tubeless wheel design and functionality with bombproof wheelsets boasting impeccable bead seating and tubeless reliability. Check out a local race or turn on the live feed to watch a World Cup event, and you'll see wheels such as the Crest 27.5in Wheelset zooming across the course. Built to roll light and fast with newly updated hubs, these wheels will tackle any cross-country course with ease.

This wheelset utilizes Stan's Bead Socket Technology (BST), which features low profile sidewalls that provide a better seat for the tire bead and allow for a heap of benefits compared to standard rims with higher sidewalls. When setup as tubeless, BST provides an exceptional seal while allowing the tire to hold a greater volume of air than with standard rims. This interface lets the tire maintain its full shape for a wider, more stable rolling platform than if the same tire were mounted on a standard rim.

When paired with BST, a tubeless setup's ability to run up to 30% lower air pressure than clinchers results in exceptional tire stability, better handling, solid cornering, and better overall control. If you prefer clinchers, these rims are compatible with them, and the lower sidewall drastically reduces pinch flat risk by reducing the amount of material present for the tube to pinch against. This means less time sitting in the dust wrestling with a flat at the side of the trail and more time shredding your favorite loops.

Stan's laces the Crest rims to its all-new Neo hub set featuring smooth-spinning, oversized chrome bearings and stiff, swaged axles. The Neo holds the bearings at a wider stance for a claimed threefold increase in strength compared to standard hub designs. It also boasts 4 precision pawls that simultaneously engage a forged steel 36t ratchet ring for snappy engagement. Stan's builds in its new SealLock end caps for easy installation and Slip-Fit axle ends for easy conversion.

The Stan's NoTubes Crest 27.5in Wheelset comes complete with Stan's yellow rim tape and valves already installed for tubeless use — just add your favorite tubeless-ready tire, sealant, and air. It's available in a QR/15mm front and 142 x 12mm rear combination with either a Shimano/SRAM or SRAM XD freehub. Please note that the Crest 27.5in Wheelset has a maximum recommended rider weight of 190lb.
