SRAM's XX Disc Brake is a lightweight, race-ready stopper that takes the best in SRAM's braking technologies and eliminates any excess. This stripping-of-superfluous ethos is true for every component from caliper to lever, ensuring that your braking system is as streamlined and efficient as possible.
This includes SRAM features like Power Reserve. The carbon lever's pivot point is close to the bars for easy and natural leverage, as it's based on the Elixir design, but it forgoes the tool-free reach adjustment in order to save a little weight. The lever is connected to a forged aluminum body with a slim MatchMaker clamp, which simplifies mounting and reduces weight when attaching shift levers and suspension remotes. Integrated into the body and piston assembly is TaperBore Technology, where the master cylinder reservoir resides to not only save weight but to give superb modulation and feel. The levers are also ambidextrous, meaning that they're suitable for both left and right applications.
The caliper is made from two pieces of forged aluminum, meaning that two bolts hold the caliper together. The two-piston design ensures powerful, consistent braking, and there's an external, adjustable banjo for clean line routing.
The SRAM XX Disc Brake is available in the color Carbon Obsidian Black and as either an individual Rear/right or Front/left option. Please note that these brakes do not include rotors.
