Description

Bringing XX1 technology to the masses.

Lighter than 300 grams, the SRAM X01 X-Glide XG-1195 Cassette brings XX1 technology to the masses — including all of the XD Driver Body, X-Dome, and 11-speed goodness. Improving on the interface between a cassette and freehub, SRAM's XD Driver Body allows the use of a 10-tooth cog in place of the lock ring.

The cassette threads at the base of the hub body create a stable connection between the two. However, it still uses the same installation tool that SRAM has relied on for years. This permitted the ample, 10-42t gear spread and the elimination of both triple and double drivetrains.

The single unit X-Dome open design creates a lightweight, exacting, and strong cassette that's optimized to shed mud. This ensures a consistent and crisp gear selection in conditions ranging from the North West to arid deserts.

The SRAM X01 X-Glide XG-1195 Cassette is compatible with SRAM XX1 and X01 components and XD Driver Bodies from SRAM, Mavic, and DT Swiss.

Murdered Out

This cassette gets it done. The new 1X craze is worthy and it is thanks tot eh fine engineering and design from the folks at SRAM. There isn't a whole lot of difference between the XO1 and the XX1 set ups, especially the cassettes.

Love it

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Put this on a carbon rear wheel from light-bicycle (Hope evo hubs) on a 2014 StumpJumper Evo 29". So far this upgrade is well worth the $ spent, X01 + grip shift makes shifting super fast and intuitive - I know XX1/X01 is "super high-end" now, but it actually makes shifting so straightforward it's something a beginner would better understand. I ride xc mainly and it's so much easier to change gears on the variety of short/long hills of varying steepness.
Stock x7-9 setup sucked by comparison IMO. Shifting on this is super fast/smooth which changes ride quality for me completely.
