Durable, lightweight, and accurate, the SRAM X01 Trigger Shifter delivers a precise, sure-handed experience up and down SRAM's X-Dome cassette. Minus a carbon cover and Gore Ride On cables, the X01 employs much of the same technology as SRAM's XX1 shifter.

This includes the new X-Actuation that keeps shifting precise and dependable across the cassette. Like the Exact-Actuation ratio for its 10-speed road group, SRAM has deviated from its bread-and-butter, 1:1 pull ratio. Now, XX1 uses SRAM's cable-pull ratio system to deliver a more uniform and accurate derailleur movement, with less applied force required from the user.

It also includes the multi-adjustable trigger shifter that lets you dial-in your shifter to exact reach specifications. Needless to say, this is incredibly helpful for cyclists with both smaller or larger hands. The shifter also comes with a MatchMaker X-compatible clamp in order to simplify accessibility and to create a clean aesthetic by placing your XLoc suspension controls securely next to your shifter.

Clean Handlebars And Shifting

    My SRAM X01 Shifter and Rock Shox Reverb Trigger attach easily to the Guide RSC Brake Levers for a super clean handlebar look on my new Pivot Mach 6. It is all about integration and efficiency and SRAM X01 is the way to go.

    I chose the SRAM X01 trigger shifter for my Santa Cruz 5010. For a 1X this is the way to go. Shifting is crazy smooth and the satisfying snap into gear, you know what gear you’re in. Yet again X01 is the way to go. Give me a shout if you want to talk shop.

    This shifter is very smooth, work perfect with my SRAM X1 cassette and SRAM X1 Rear Derailleur, It's a few grams heavier that the XX1. The best relation price/quality

    I'm a long time user of SRAM XO on my old DH bike so I didn't have any issues getting used to the XO1 shifter. It has a great feel and seems to give more feedback in each click than XO did, which is great.

      Loving it

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

      I'm a hold out for sure. I still ride a 26er, and until this week was on a 3x9. If it aint broke don't fix it has been my motto. Given a really good deal on the X01 group, I modified my XTR cranks with a narrow wide chainring and went for it. I dropped over a pound, cleaned up the cockpit, and simplified my shifting. There has been zero chainslap since, zero missed shifts, zero "oh s@#$ I can't get the gear I want moments". I'm loving it. That said, I cut out my two top end gears and three bottom end gears by making the change. I've spun out a couple of times, but really, who needs to go faster than 34mph on a mountain bike. I've also done a couple longer climbs of 3000' where a gear or two lower would have been OK. That said - I'm sold. I've been a life long shimano lover, but sram's got a winner with these groups.

      XO1 is the way to go

        The XO1 Trigger Shifter employs similar mechanics and feel as other SRAM shifters. Having 11 cogs to manage on one shifter would be hellish if you didn't have the SRAM XO1 Trigger Shifter. This thing allows you to climb cogs at a rapid rate while providing fast transition on the down due to the quick trigger mech. Your thumb won't feel fatigued like it did when you played Super Mario Bros. as a little one.

        Hard to get used to

        Coming from Shimano XTR shifters i have a hard time getting used to the SRAM shifter in regards that the FWD shift lever must be pushed (SRAM) unlike the Shimano that can be pushed or pulled. I am sure that is just a matter of time and it will be second nature, but for now i find myself shifting up when i want to go down.

        Funny - I thought the same on my first ride, but then again I only pulled about 1/2 the time. By my second ride that desire went away.
