What community has to say
I bought these shifters for my wife for her birthday and she loves them. They are spot on shifting. There is no slack in the trigger at all. She is so stoked especially after running the x-5 shifters for a year. She's running the shifters with the x-9 derailleur, which is a great combo. And the pink ones look SICK on her SX trail! BOOOOOM!!

Is the front shifter still compatible with the HammerSchmidt?
Or do i have to buy both in addition to the HammerSchmidt XO Shifter?
Only the hammerschmidt shifter will work with the Hammerschmidt. Your local bike shop can order individual shifters so you can save a little money buying only the one you need.

Better than Apple Crisp
So many people say to me "why did you go with the X.O? the X.9 is just as good". I give them one ride on my bike and they never ask again. My X.0 shifter (combined with my X.0 derailleur) has a level of crisp that I haven't felt in any other component ever on any bike. The feeling makes me want to shift even when I don't have to just because it brings a smile to my face. I just can't believe it really feels like that. After all I've said I don't even think I have to talk about the other features, like light weight, insanely adjustable, and you can mount it to a matchmaker with your Avid brakes!
These are even more crisp and perfect than the X.9s. They are light and have the adjustable trigger on them. The price makes them a little hard to stomach but if you are a really good racer, weight weeny, extremely picky, or have way too much money to spend then you might as well go for it.
