Red Outer Chainring - Road

Some of us go for the kill on every ride, while others are less, well, competitive. The former are always on the cutting edge equipment, looking for every technical advantage. The latter are happy to do one or two or no races a year, and tend to be more concerned with longevity, durability, comfort, and proven quality than saving a few grams. Those of us who feel that way favor gear like SRAM's Red Outer Chainring.

The Red Ring is stamped from 7075-T6 alloy, a string of numbers and letters that is really just a funny way to spell "gear that will last." It gets the SRAM/TruVativ machining and coining treatment for precise shifting and the alloy is strain-hardened for virtual invincibility. The pick-up rivets are stainless steel for even more longevity.

The SRAM Red Outer Chainring - Road is available in 110 or 130 millimeter BCD (Bolt Circle Diameter) with 50, 52, 53, 54, or 55 teeth. Please note that this chainring is only 10-speed compatible.
