Get some stopping power.

Though it's still riding the wave of its debut hype, SRAM's line of Guide brakes already boasts a reputation for being a front runner in the disc brake world, offering solid consistency and exceptional power across the range. The SRAM Guide R Disc Brake Set with Centerline Rotors sits at the beginning of the Guide line, offering steep-line confidence at a wallet-friendly price point.

The Guide R features SRAM's effectively simple DirectLink technology, resulting in a silky smooth lever operation that produces a solid, constant feel the second you squeeze the lever. DirectLink pairs with a new cup-seal timing port closure system for consistent modulation across the braking action and immediate, predictable stopping power. For quick customization, The levers feature tool-free reach adjust to easily dial things in to meet your individual reach preferences.

Like the rest of the Guide line, the Guide R caliper features a 4-piston, dual-diameter design and pairs with steel-backed organic pads for powerful speed scrubbing whenever you need it. It also features a user-friendly top-loading pad design so you can spend more time playing in the dirt and less time hunched over your bike fixing brake pads.

To complete the system, the SRAM Guide R Disc Brake Set includes Centerline Rotors. They feature venting lines down the middle of the braking track to reduce overheating and increase braking consistency compared to rotors without center vents. The signature, 12-spoke design limits lateral bending or warping under heat stress for stable, predictable braking every time you need it. Finally, all of that machining means less weight — something that sells itself when you're grunting over the crux of the climb before dropping in.
