Polartec NeoShell, which Sportful uses in the Fiandre, is truly a wonder fabric. It's insulating, waterproof, wind resistant, stretchy, and breathable all at once, so it's as perfect in cold and dry conditions as it is on wet and windy days. The seams are fully taped and the YKK Vislon zipper is waterproof, so no moisture can get in, and it can be worn over a light baselayer on mild days or a heavier layer when conditions get extreme.

The jacket's cut is trim enough to ensure that the material stays snug against your body for effective moisture transfer that doesn't include an aerodynamic penalty. Finishing touches include three classic drop-in pockets and reflective details at the back.
