Love my Jelly-bellys!

    I have been using these for the last few years for trail running and mountain biking and can't seem to find anything else I enjoy more. They are perfect for long days on the trail when you need some calories and a little pick me up from the caffeine. I like them better than various gu's since they are far less messy and easier to spread out over the course of my run. No more sticky pockets for me!!

    Candy while exercising. What!?

    These little beans are great. I usually get the caffeinated lime versions. They are great when you don't think you can stomach a gel or a Clif bar or something similar. They are a lot easier to than bars and gels as well.

    My excuse to eat candy

    I prefer gels and chews to bars as they don't seem to dry my mouth out as much. These things are great tasting and give you an excuse to eat jelly beans of you got a sweet tooth like myself. My problem is trying not to eat them all while just sitting around....

    Great Pick Me Ups!

    I'm not really into gus and that kind of thing. Friend had these and I enjoyed them so picked up a box. Overall I like them and use them every time I go mountain biking. They taste is pretty good and they ARE actually Jelly Belly's. Will probably get another box when I run out.

    These are great for your rides for a quick pick me up. I used Stinger waffles for years but no longer had a taste for them so I looked to a new source. Well, I like jelly beans so to find sport beans was the right avenue for me. These are packed with flavor and give you that extra bit of energy for completing a ride. 100% recommended!

    Goodbye Gel

    I've never been good at morning eating or eating enough on trails and gel / goo just weirds me out though I had learned to deal with it. Sportsbeans are a great solution as a yummy (though not quite on the juicy-pear level) snack that seems to get the job done.

    Very similar boost to shot blocks / Gatorade chews but in a much different flavor and basically indestructible both in the bean factor and the packaging. Also like that you can reseal the bag for a half snack or just to throw other small trash into.

    And oh, lime all the way.

    Good Pre Run Snack

    I've been taking these about a half hour before longer runs, they give me the small boost I need to get going. I also pop a few as I am into my run every few miles. The fruit punch flavor is pretty good but not too sweet. The only thing that I don't like is that I need to drink a little water when I eat these, it doesn't dry my mouth out too much but it's just a bit of a weird texture. So like I said, I like these before my run.

    I've used Sport Beans during rides when I started to feel a little bogged down. It definitely does not replace solid food or other nutrition for your ride but will be a nice pick-me-up when you need it most. I had the lemon-lime favor and thought it had a good flavor.
