The Walkable Cleat Extender Base Plate Kit replaces the standard 4-bolt-to-3-bolt base plate that comes with Speedplay cleats. It affords a significant increase in cleat positioning possibilities, providing 2mm additional forward positioning and 14mm of extra rearward positioning.
Note that it's only compatible with Speedplay's Walkable Cleats — you'll need a separate, specially made adapter for X-Series, Zero, and Light Action cleats. Furthermore, the kit doesn't include the cleats themselves, but it does include all of the necessary mounting hardware.
