Tackle any terrain in the Sombrio Men's Lowline II Bike Short. Coming straight out of the Epik line, these shorts are made to go for miles and be tough, lightweight, and comfortable both on the trail, and when you pedal to your favorite post-ride watering hole.
The Lowline II is a versatile, technical piece that comes with a detachable chamois liner, the difference from the standard Lowline. The shorts have a sturdy seam construction and utilize bar tack stitching throughout the stress zones. They're made from Core 500 fabric, a durable medium weight moto fabric with a 500 denier oxford weave. The fabric is treated with DWR to repel rain and mud. In short, these can take a pounding and still come off the trail ready for another ride.
The FRD slim fit leaves room for pads without being snag-your-saddle baggy around the legs. Vents in the thighs give you a place to dump heat when needed. A zippered side pocket and single welt flap zippered back waistband pocket give you storage options when you're riding without a pack. The rubber pull tab on the fly makes unzipping your pants with gloved hands easier, and belt loops finish off the shorts so you can secure them in the right place.
The medium density chamois adds padding and moisture management on XC rides but can be removed for lift-served days. The Sombrio Lowline II Bike Short comes in Wet Cement and Black. It is available in sizes X-Small through XX-Large.
