You need a fog-fighting pair of goggles with easy helmet compatibility, not an exercise in complicated eyewear. For this very reason, Smith built the Fuel V.1 Goggles. Its tear-off compatibility and proven fit make it a classic, and it comes in a handful of colors. So, you're able to add a dash of style to your kit.

To keep your goggles fog-free, they need to have a close fit against your face. That's why Smith has refined the Fuel V.1 frame in order to provide this without any helmet interference. It results in a seamless interface that prevents fogging when you're riding. The single density foam against the face is what separates the Fuel V.1 goggles from its Max counterpart, which incorporates multiple density foam. And to secure the fit run after run, the straps are held in place with silicone grippers.

The clear lenses included with the Fuel utilize tear-off tabs. So, you'll have clear vision in the wettest of conditions. But, if you'd prefer something that's friendlier to both the user and the environment, they're compatible with Smith's roll-off system. It's not dissimilar from an analog camera, in that the pull tab advances the film roll across the lens. And, along with being easier to use than a standard tear-off, you'll also enjoy the moral high ground of taking your used lens-protectors with you, rather than littering the Earth with sheets of tear-off film.

The Smith Fuel V.1 Max Goggles are available in one size and in the colors Black Vert, Blue Fader, Green Daze, Red Daze, and Pink Daze

Here's what others have to say...

Entry level, recreational goggle.

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

I bought these as a cheap pair of disposable goggles which is exactly what they are. Completely usable goggles, although materials such as the foam, is of lower quality. You get what you pay for. If your looking for a high end, competition level goggle, be prepared to pay $100+. These are decent goggles for the price.

simple cheap googles

bought these for DH and enduro bike riding. fits well. not sure how long it will last but pretty cheap to replace. how come they don't have the replacement lens or tear offs for this?

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Such a great affordable goggle. Totally happy with my purchase. These have been perfect on the hot days I have been riding in, and I know they will do well on the rainy days too. Comfortable too!
