Skirt Sports Tri 5in Women's Shorts $0.00
Whether you're racing your first triathlon or it's been part of your life for years, you know that comfort during the whole race is key to having fun and going fast. Accordingly, the Skirt Sports Tri 5in Women's Shorts provide coverage and support in a small package.
Skirt Sports was founded by professional triathlete Nicole DeBoom. It struck her while out on a run that women needn't sacrifice femininity in order to be athletic — she had caught her reflection in a window and the image of her muscular legs and short hair made her wonder, momentarily, "who's that boy?" Skirt Sports was born in 2003 with the design of a skirt for running, and it's since branched out into fun, colorful multi-sports apparel for women of all body types.
Along these lines, these shorts were constructed from a lightweight wicking fabric that dries quickly once out of the water. They have a five-inch inseam that's long enough to minimize any inner-thigh chafing from your saddle. The legs are held in place by a dotted silicone gripper on the inside of the hem. This sits lightly against the skin and doesn't restrict or chafe your legs. The waistband gripper sits below your belly button. This "low-rider" style limits tummy pain from waistband pressure in the wrong place while you race. The shorts feature Skirt Sports' 'barely-there' chamois, which provides ample cushioning while on the bike without bunching up during your run. Finishing the shorts off are two back pockets for nutrition storage during either your training or racing.
The Skirt Sports Tri 5in Women's Shorts are available in the color Black and in six sizes from Small to XX-Large.
