ROX 6.0 CAD Cyclocomputer

Sigma's ROX 6.0 CAD Cyclocomputer meets all of our requirements for a basic training computer: heart rate thresholds, intensity monitoring across four zones, cadence, speed, calories burned, and pedal time. It also adds altitude to the mix, which effectively translates your heart rate numbers into 3D so you can map efforts across topography in addition to distance and time.

The ROX 6.0 CAD's altitude functions cover meters gained and lost, as well as tracking the last three miles of your ride — a feature that's as much fun as it is useful. With these combined metrics, you can more accurately rate your favorite local walls and passes and gauge your efforts accordingly. With the included docking port, you can upload your data to Sigma's optional Data Center software to better guide your training. While this software isn't included with the unit, every Sigma computer does include a voucher to download Data Center at a discounted rate. The computer does include speed and cadence sensors and a heart rate monitor.

The unit also transcends handlebar applications, attaching to an included wrist strap for bipedal outings ranging from a walk in the hills to mountaineering adventures. While some features don't transfer well to the foot trail, heart rate, zone management, altitude (current, lost, and gained), and temperature all complement your hiking experience.
