Sidi Sun Women's Shoes $199.95
Italian quality doesn't cost a fortune
Whether you're vaulting over the barriers, or sending down the trails, you need shoes that provide comfort, stiffness, and durability. Basically, you need a pair like the Sidi Sun Women's Shoes. With a sleek aesthetic and an anatomic design, the Sun shoes are the obvious choice for anyone who appreciates quality.
As with most things, the devil is in the details. Starting with the retention configuration, the Sun features three Velcro straps along the upper. This system allows a fully-tuneable fit both pre-ride and on-the-fly. It fits into what Sidi calls its last/foot form technology, where the bottom two straps control the snugness of the fit at the metatarsal and instep areas. These straps are best adjusted before you hit the trail, and left alone thereafter. The top strap is what the design dictates as the entry and exit adjustment point. Together, the three strap system eliminates any internal foot slip that depreciates your efficiency. To further control slippage, Sidi added its signature heel cup for reinforcement. Basically, it keeps the foot in the perfect position on hard up-strokes and while climbing out of the saddle. As a result, you'll be powering comfortably and precisely with the ideal, comfortable volume inside the shoe.
Further along the lines of comfort, Sidi has given the Sun a massive amount of ventilation. This means that your feet won't be susceptible to sweltering conditions, and you can hit the trail all day without worries of swamp foot. And while the ventilation makes the Sun the perfect summer shoe, Sidi also prepared them for winter. Positioned at the toe, Sidi fitted the Sun for two toe spikes (available separately) to provide traction in muddy conditions.
The Sidi Sun Women's Shoes are available in the color Black/silver and in odd and even sizes ranging from 36.0 to 43.0. Please note that these shoes are intended for use with 2-hole mountain bike cleats.

Made just for me!
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
These fit like a dream! First time biker and doubt I will buy another pair.
First shoe and still rockin' them.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This was the first pair of shoes that I bought for mountain biking about 5 years ago, an older version than what is available here. Still have them and I have zero complaints with them. I haven't tried many other shoes, but have been super happy with these and the way they have held up. These have taken me from beginner to intermediate on my mountain bike....great shoes!
Great MTB Shoes!

I love these MTB shoes. I typically take a 7 1/2 or 38. The size chart said to order a 39.5?? I ordered the 39 and they fit perfect.
Only problem is I had to call after I ordered on-line. Apparently they were put on hold for some unknown reason. Once they were taken off hold, I got them in two days. Oh, and the rep on the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE for no reason. I was nice all the way even though I had been waiting too long to get the shoes. Just asked a few questions that apparently was annoying to him. Like, "are we talking about the same order?" because I didn't understand why these would be on hold and my husband orders from backcountry quite often. His response was, "Well, yah, what other order would I be talking about!?" And, that wasn't all from him:( I was upset when I got off the phone but didn't want him to intentionally mess up my order so I was really nice even though I was treated VERY poorly!!!!!! Very disappointing from a Backcountry employee!!
