Hardcore softshell.

Unless you're from the Pacific Northwest, and actually live outside, odds are that the crew at Showers Pass spends more time riding in the rain than you. And this should give you plenty of assurance that the Crosspoint Softshell WP Gloves will shield you from the nastiest weather that you'd ever want to ride in.

As the name implies, they're built from a malleable softshell material that's been bonded to an OutDry waterproof breathable membrane. Not only is it waterproof and windproof, but it also allows sweat vapor to escape.

And while they're not quite as warm as the Crosspoint Hardshell gloves, they're decidedly more versatile. Plus, there are reflective accents to improve your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions. Silicone grippers have also been added to the fingers in order to keep you in touch with your controls. Basically, if you haven't found riding gloves that are up to the task, and ski gloves are just too bulky, these gloves are right up your alley.

The Showers Pass Crosspoint Softshell WP Gloves are available in the color Black and in five sizes from Small to XX-Large.

Absolutely not waterproof.

I'm not sure how this manufacturer is able to use the word waterproof. With a very light rain shower these keep the hands mostly dry but in a Vancouver , BC medium rain shower the hands become damp and then progress to completely soaked. The water is not getting in from the cuff either, I have the cuffs completely covered by my jacket. The wetness starts at the tips of the fingers and then progresses to the palm. I can't imagine that they test these and if they do they must know that they are inadequate but the cost of re manufacturing them is too much so they just push them out. Disappointed.
