Description

Shimano has components dialed, add shoes to the list.

The Shimano SH-M240L Shoes is designed to out-perform your expectations. The M240 features a tough, durable synthetic leather upper with low-profile armor for increased foot protection. The curved, anatomical last combines with Shimano's Custom-Fit technology for a cycling shoe that literally cradles the foot. All is held secure on the M240 through two hook-and-loop straps and a low-profile micro-adjust buckle that provides exact adjustment.

  • Rovenica ultra-fine synthetic leather is extremely lightweight, supple and features exceptional durability and abrasion resistance
  • Ultra-rigid, long fiber carbon shank with tuned heel flex for powerful pedaling without the power loss
  • Optional toe spikes increase traction in dirt or mud
  • Heat-moldable custom fit technology and heat moldable insoles provide a super-comfortable fit that won't go flat in a season
  • Anti-slip heel lining won't shift during pedal up-stroke

Highly recommeded!

It was time for new shoes, so I tried several different brands at my local shop. I have been wearing Sidi's and couldn't say enough good things about them....until I tried the M240L's. Right out of the box, these shoes fit my foot (fairly narrow) so much better than any brand I've worn. Super comfortable with a rigid sole. I've only ridden with them twice, but I never experienced any hotspots or fatigue. I obviously can't speak on the durablility just yet, but they are made very well. I ride in the SoCal hills, so I find myself hiking some. These shoes grip fairly well (as long as you keep the toe spikes installed) and walking on flat ground or pavement is a treat. These shoes are well worth the money. *Note* I suggest going to a store and trying these shoes on if you plan on ordering online. Shimano sizes are a little different than other brands. I normally wear a 45 in Sidi, but with the Shimano's, I wear a 44.5. They fit like a glove
