Scott redesigned its chamois line, and the ++ Performance chamois that lines the inside of the Endurance Plus ranks second from the top in Scott's new hierarchy. According to Scott, this makes it best for medium-distance racing and riding, though we're confident that "medium" can be classified as anything less than a long Fondo, as the chamois features plush dual-density foam arranged in varying thicknesses to promote circulation and provide support while you're in the saddle. A soft, bacteriostatic outer layer creates a seamless transition between the main body of the shorts and the chamois as well, limiting the likelihood of chafing and following your body movements as you pedal. Scott adds robust silicone-backed leg grippers to prevent bunching and tugging fabric from getting in the way of your ride, along with a wide, supportive waistband designed to lie flat whether you're stretched out in your drops or standing on a long climb.
