Aereonaut Saddle Bag plus Levers

SciCon invested its entire design prowess into creating a saddle bag that would be aero, unobtrusive and effective at carrying your stuff. The Aereonaut has been engineered to have a smooth surface and a rounded shape in order to minimize its drag coefficient. There is no zipper to rub irritatingly on your shorts. SciCon has concentrated on reducing the amount of material needed to make a functioning saddle bag. By using a fiberglass shell, it has been able to form the Aereonaut into a type of protective egg, so that you can carry your inner tube, and CO2 cartridge, along with the tire levers that are supplied with the bag. The outer silicon skin, which is made from super light polymers, will form around whatever you are carrying, keeping the tools in place so there’s not a lot of rattling.

To attach it to your saddle, SciCon developed the Roller 2.1 fitting system. You simply attach the clamp to the underside of the rails, which you can do without needing to use any tools. Once the clamp is fitted, the Aereonaut can be easily put on or taken off with a twisting motion that will secure the pack to the clamp. Now you won’t have to worry about straps wearing out or that irritating jingling noise zippers make.

The SciCon Aereonaut Saddle Bag comes with its own levers. It weighs in at 99 grams and has external dimensions of 13cm x 8cm x 5cm. So it’s not huge, but it will hold all those essentials you’ll need for your rides, whether you are taking an hour at lunch or five on the weekend.
