Ultremo ZX Tire - Clincher

The Schwalbe Ultremo ZX Clincher Tire has been designed to be the perfect match of durability and low rolling resistance. The result is the fastest, longest lasting tire in the Schwalbe lineup.

Schwalbe has incorporated their RaceStar Triple compound which employs a condensed section of rubber at the center of the tire to create a super low rolling resistance. The harder rubber compound allows the tire to roll with minimal effort because it averts the main reason for loss of energy -- the constant deformation of the tire. The rubber compound gets progressively softer as it moves from the center of the tire to the outside, adding a forgiving amount of grip even for the most aggressive cornering.

The Ultremo ZX Clincher Tire also makes effective use of Schwalbe's HD or High Definition Speed Guard puncture protection system. This is the method by which Schwalbe keeps their tires super light but still exceptionally resistant to punctures. At less than 200 grams per tire, these Schwalbe Ultremo ZX Clincher Tires will appeal to the weight weenie as well as the practical road rider alike.

The Schwalbe Ultremo ZX Clincher Tire comes in a multitude of colors in 700c x 23 and in full-on racing Black in 23, 25, and 28mm sizes.
