Schwalbe Fat Albert EVO Snakeskin 26in UST $0.00
The Fat Albert EVO Snakeskin UST Tire uses a race-developed Evolution carcass to place it on the lighter end of the tubeless-tire spectrum. And does so without compromising the tire's structural integrity because it uses Schwalbe's Snakeskin technology.
This means the sidewalls are reinforced with a crosshatched pattern that makes it less vulnerable to pinches and tears. This also makes tubeless installation much easier due to the Snakeskin sidewall being more malleable than a dual-wall tire.
On the other hand, like dual-wall tires -- and given the Fat Albert's name -- this tire has serous volume that allows for large, well-spaced lugs to shed mud, and confidently bite without excessive flexing. There is a mix of perpendicular split and angled knobs along the center, with angled side knobs for positive traction when leaning into turns.
The tread patterns are slightly modified for front and rear specific patterns that improve efficiency and handling. Also, the rubber compounds are specific for front and rear applications. At the front is Schwalbe's TrailStar formula that maximizes control with a dual compound featuring softer rubber along the sides. The Rear is treated to the durable PaceStar compound.
This ensures tire wear is consistent between the two, and traction is balanced for neutral handling. The Schwalbe Fat Albert EVO Snakeskin UST 26in Tire comes in either 2.25 or 2.4in widths.

Hey Hey Hey!
- Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
Diggin' me some Fat Albert's! I've conquered many, many different trails with these bad boys on. They grip like no other. Even in the wettest of conditions! The only downside to them would be their weight; especially the 2.4 size which I happen to be running. But then again, since I ain't racing, there should be no complain'n!
