Schwalbe CX Pro Tire - Folding $0.00
Not every weekend at cyclocross races is a slog through slop. The Schwalbe CX Pro Cyclocross Tire was built for those fast, early-season races on dusty hardpack. This lightweight clincher excels on punchy uphill accelerations while also inspiring confidence on rutted, off-camber descents. Schwalbe builds their clincher ‘cross tires, like the Pro, with a harder rubber compound in the center of the tire to lower rolling resistance and increase durability and flat resistance. To maintain balance, a softer compound is used towards the outside of the tire, increasing flexibility and optimizing grip while cornering. The Schwalbe CX Pro Cyclocross Tire is available in 700Cx30mm in Black.

2 stars only because they are rubber and round. Otherwise they don't qualify as CX tires. I'm 130 lbs, race mountain bikes and am a pretty delicate rider. Still, I've managed to flat on these more than any other tire I've used, on any other bike in the last 4 years, combined. I've had at least 6 pinch flats running these tires on non-race situations. On gravel roads with the occasional root. Hardly epic riding conditions. Too narrow to be great offroad, too delicate a carcass to keep the air in. The side knobs shred pretty quickly. These tires are best used as presents for racers you don't like. I wouldn't even run them on my commuter.

Not much for specifications here so kind of felt like a gamble purchasing. Had not seen the graphics pictured and wondered if it was an OEM product for the price. Pleasantly surprised when it showed up in a Schwalbe box with performance rating and gray/white not yellow lettering. 295 grams stated weight on box. Not as nice as the Evo line and probably not tlr, but heck it's going on a set of clinchers with tubes and was really affordable. For the price, I will probably pick-up a spare next time I make an order from backcountry or competitive cyclist. Rating not based on usage. but will try to update. Also, tread pattern looks great for a rear tire for the dry area I live but will probably run a 700x33 Rocket Ron up front.
