Your health and general well-being on the bicycle are important to Santini, which is why its new Kopar Jersey was engineered with fabrics that facilitate these soothing body states. We don't mean to get too Zen on you, but Santini developed its new Kopar jersey with the overall focus of giving your body a boost on the bike using a combination of its new innovative copper- and ceramic-blended fabric. As copper is a known element to facilitate human health, Santini paired it with its latest Resistex fabric, giving you the edge you'll be thankful for after hours of hard efforts in the saddle.

Santini constructed the Kopar out of two of its high-end Resistex fabrics. In addition to the aforementioned qualities associated with the element copper, the Resistex Copper material, which is quick-wicking microfiber composed with strands of copper woven throughout, works by releasing the amount of copper the body needs in order to maintain optimal levels health and welfare. Every day, our bodies take in small amounts of copper through food and water, and Resistex Copper relies on the body's ability to absorb copper through the skin. Santini says that by releasing the amount of copper the body needs through its Resistex fabric, it's able to 'stimulate the metabolism and the contraction of the heart muscles.' Additionally, these body fabric panels inhibit the breeding of bacteria through its anti-static and bacteriostatic properties.

Moving on to the shoulders and pockets, Santini added its Resistex Bioceramic fabric. This material is a polyester fiber bonded with bio-ceramic material, which provides excellent thermal insulation. Essentially, the fabric works for you as you ride by keeping your body temperature constant and isolated from the cold, and it also reduces calorie expenditure so that less energy is needed. Resistex Bioceramic is also an active natural barrier against harmful UV-A and UV-B rays, which keeps you protected and comfortable during your hardest efforts. Additionally, bio-ceramic has the ability to reproduce the FIR rays (Far Infrared Rays) emitted by the sun. These rays can be easily absorbed by the body, stimulate the microcirculatory system, and boost the metabolism. As a byproduct of absorbing FIR rays, heat becomes generated, which allows your tissue to become oxygenated and eases the relaxation of contracted muscles.

The Kopar jersey's "strategic cut" fit is Santini's aerodynamic race-cut option. Essentially, this means you move and breathe easily without ever feeling too constricted, but the fabric panels gently hug the torso and mimic the body while in motion. A modern, low-profile collar provides just the right amount of neck coverage, complemented by thinly-banded sleeves that stay in place on your upper arm. The Jersey's elastic waist is treated with a silicone gripper at the bottom, keeping the gear that you've stowed in the three back pockets from shifting as you ride. A full-length zipper, pixel reflective fabric inserts on the back and cuffs, and reflective heatseal on the upper back finish off the Kopar jersey from Santini.
