When the cool weather finally takes over for good, we reluctantly make the transition from bib shorts to more layers and added coverage. But Santini knows that the frosty conditions don't have to mean uncomfortable and restrictive clothing, as it designed the new CULT Bib Tights to be your go-to lower layer for all the fall and winter rides that await you.
For the CULT bib tights' leg panels, a fabric known as Super Roubaix was employed. This is a material with a smooth outer surface and a brushed micro-fleece lining. It's also a stretchy fabric that strikes a fine balance between keeping you warm without restricting movement or feeling bulky. A second layer of Super Roubaix was added to the knees, which provides additional warmth and ease of movement at this flex point. The material's composition works to keep your legs warm while, at the same time, ensuring that you stay dry through its exceptional wicking capabilities.
For the bib tights' uppers, Santini used its lightweight, breathable mesh. This fabric introduces a heightened level of ventilation around your torso for general breathability, while also providing a great deal of stretch and adaptability to the straps. The tights were stitched together with friction-minimizing flatlock seams and a body-mapped cut, ensuring that you stay comfortable while out there spinning away for hours on end.
The Gel Intech chamois is Santini's anatomically-shaped, multiple density insert. Like all Santini inserts, the Gel Intech is hand-made and sewn internally so that the curves and depressions have no exposed seams. This design assures maximum comfort in the perineal area, with no stitching contacting your skin along the central channel. Wrapped with an antibacterial microfiber wicking outer-layer, the Gel Intech chamois keeps you comfortable and dry atop your saddle for all-day riding sessions.
The Santini CULT Bib Tights were finished off with reflective piping on the seams in order to increase your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions. They are available in five sizes from Small to XX-Large and in the color Black.
