Description

At just over 28 pounds, you might think the Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon SPX with All-Mountain build is a fully-rigid carbon XC race rig. Wrong. The Nomad Carbon is packin' 6 inches of travel front and rear. It also has one of the toughest frames on this big blue ball. That's right -- the Nomad carbon can handle more punishment than most DH bikes due to Santa Cruz's ingenious one-piece carbon layup.

  • One-piece carbon layup front triangle, including junctions, shock mounts, and pivot points, increases frame strength while reducing frame weight
  • Rock Shox Lyrik RC2 DH fork with nearly 6.5 inches of travel takes a beating and begs for more
  • Race-proven Shimano Deore XT drivetrain provides the perfect balance of light weight and durability for slaying the mountain up and down
  • Tried-and-true DT Swiss wheelset won't weigh you down on the climb and handles punishment like a wrecking ball or an anvil or other punishment-handling stuff

Santa Cruz Nomad C

This bike drives itself. Perfect all mountain geometry, excellent wheels and suspension travel. Overall this bike was well put together. Check Santa Cruz's lab in the link below.

Takes biking to another level

I just picked up one of these but with the talas 160 up front. Have finally had a chance to take it on all sorts of terrain and have been blown away with how sick this rig is. It eats up everything and climbs better than my old superlight. Stop telling yourself no and just pick one up. I guarantee you will not look back once to get on it.
