Description

Say farewell to the pink-and-shrink paradigm of years past –the Santa Cruz Juliana Bike is full-featured and ready for real mountain riding –not just bike paths and grocery-getting. 100 millimeters of front and rear travel provide plenty of cushion for most trails and fire roads, and Avid Juicy 3 hydraulic brakes are powerful but provide lots of modulation as well.

  • Rock Shox Recon Silver R fork and Fox Float R rear shock for durable, dependable suspension
  • Shimano drivetrain provides crisp shifts and great power transfer
  • Mavic wheels are light and strong to make long, rocky climbs a little easier
  • Single-pivot suspension design is lightweight and proven, and has very few parts to break or wear out

Juliana

Love my new ride! I did need to be tweaked by a bike mechanic when it arrived. It does come assembled but wasn't put together that well! Loose bolts, really dry chain, etc. It rides great though! Comfortable & Absorbs so much impact with the full suspension! The only complaint is that the brakes are sooo loud! My friend also has a Juliana and it does the same thing, must be a Santa Cruz thing or the juicey brakes! Overall, it's a great bike!

You just need to break in the pads and rotors. It takes time. A few wet sandy rides will help speed up the process. Until they're broken in, they squeak really loud.
