Royal Racing Race Shorts $0.00
Light and durable.
On race day, the list of things that you don't need almost surpasses the things that you do. For example, you're able to do without cargo pockets and fabric that tears with the slightest threat of being dragged over rocks. More importantly, though, you need the ideal combination of burly and lightweight that's found in the Royal Racing Race Shorts.
These shorts are constructed from a durable, yet breathable, 500D Cordura fabric. If you're familiar with your Cordura, then you're aware that this material is used in everything from messenger bags to seat belts. But, unlike the fiber-grade that's used in these applications, the 500D used here features a lighter, 500 denier fiber weight. This way, the material is more malleable and less stuffy. Furthering the construction, Royal Racing actually laser cut the panels of the shorts in order to provide an excellent, pedal-friendly fit. And adding to this, are four-way stretch flex zones in the front and rear that allow unrestricted body English to clean aggressive lines.
Royal racing included wide waistband to securely hold the Race shorts in place. And for adjustment, there's also two hook-and-loop adjustment tabs along the waist, as well. In terms of comfort, Royal has also incorporated a mesh liner that prevent abrasion with the outer-layer, while also assisting in wicking moisture away from the skin. At the back of the race short is a coccyx padded panel for added protection at the tailbone -- a place where your armor typically won't cover.
The Royal Racing Race Shorts are available in five sizes from Small to XX-Large and in the colors Black/white, Royal Blue/white, and Red/white.
