- Familiarity: I've used it several times
The fit and function of these shorts were great for me. But between this pair and others in my closet, these were worn maybe 12 times for rides of under one hour in duration on average. 6-7 rides in, the inner short began to fall apart at the seams around the pads. I was going to keep the shorts anyway but after my last ride, I noticed that the seams at the adjustable waist band velcro was also failing. For a medium sized wearer who have not been tossed off his bike, this type of degradation points to a quality problem in my books.
These have a 12.5" inseam and a removable chamois.

Nice light weight baggie short. I was looking for a lighter short without to many bells and whistles as I ascend as much as descend and these shorts delivered. The features are well thought out and they have good ventilation. I traditionally wear a 30-32 and ordered the small. These do come in an XS so use that size chart. Also, The steel is more gray than white as is shown.

I've had these shorts for a little over a month now. Overall, I'm only moderately impressed with them. The material feels a little thin and there are lots of pockets, zippers, venting, and seams to snag on brush. I'd say I was expecting a little better quality and durability for the price. The sizing is little off too. If in doubt about the size opt for the smaller size.
