The FI.Uno S5 lacks in the curved chamois design of its higher-priced counterparts, but the bib straps pull the chamois into place. And the chamois has the same next-to-skin softness of FI.13 and the FI.Mille, and it also shares the heat-ventilation dimples on the chamois.

The overlocked seams provide cost savings for the FI.Uno, and they have the additional upside of providing excellent elasticity. So you'll save money and be more comfortable. The welded leg grippers are the same story. They flawlessly hold the legs of the short in place, but they do so at a lower cost.
