As with the Dura-Ace CN-7801 chain, when connecting the chain make sure the outer-link is positioned toward the crankset's rotating direction. In other words, when facing the driveside of your bike, the outer-link should be to the left of the inner-link when you connect the chain. If the chain needs to be shortened, always cut the excess from the inner-link side.
