The SLC brings the concept of a high-end "cut-out" saddle to new levels of design and technology. Unlike other Selle Italia cut-out saddles where the cut-out is isolated to the middle third of its length, the SLC cut-out goes from its very rear to just shy of its nose. It's visually dramatic, and it ensures total pressure relief, no matter which portion of the saddle you find yourself on.

Not unlike the SLR, the SLC is built on a 30% carbon composite shell to maximize its lightness. Another reason for its lightness is its use of Kit Carbonio rails: A super-light Vanadium-Titanium rail reinforced for strength (and flexibility) with braided carbon fiber. Even though the SLC weighs a scant 205g, it's nevertheless comfortable for reasons beyond the cut-out: It makes extensive use of the thin "self-modeling" padding Selle Italia normally reserves for the Flite, thereby giving it comfort that even medium-weight to heavy riders will like. The SLC is also built with an elastomer suspension system to absorb road shock.

The SLC measures 134mm wide and 273mm long -- slightly wider and shorter than an SLR. Its full grain leather cover ensures longevity, no matter the weather you ride in. Available in Black only.
