Think of the Oval Concepts R900 carbon fiber handlebar as the identical twin to the R950. It has the same seamless carbon construction for lightness and stiffness, the same integrated Kevlar "Airbag" for safety, and the same ergonomic R50 bend for comfort. It has only one central difference: The R900 is reinforced at the clamping area to permit the use of clip-on aero bars. (In comparison, Oval doesn't recommend the use of clip-ons with the R950.) If you do stage races and bring only one bike, or if you like to race triathlon and prefer the versatility of a drop bar over a bullhorn, the R900 is tailor made for you.
