The R700 uses Oval's ergonomic "R50" bend, referring to the 50mm radius of the bar bend. It gives you 15% added hand room on the tops of the bars, while bringing the levers closer to your hands for easier braking and shifting. The 135mm drop and 88mm reach feel perfect no matter your hand position -- tops, hoods, or drops. It has a deep, single groove for either single (Shimano) or double (Campy/SRAM) cable routing. The single groove lends the R700 even greater strength.
