(2) You've ridden countless thousands of miles of them, and you've worn out a rim, most likely evidenced by the propagation of micro-cracks at the spoke nipple/rim interface in one or two spots. In either scenario you need your wheel rebuilt, and you probably need it rebuilt fast.

Competitive Cyclist now offers the service of rebuilding damaged/worn out Mavic Ksyrium SL and Ksyrium ES wheels. We'll unlace your wheel, then rebuild your existing hub on a new Mavic Ksyrium rim with new Mavic Zircal spokes. Both the rim and the spokes will be identical to the original rim and spokes. Furthermore, we'll pull apart your hub and overhaul it in order to ensure optimal performance.
