The DT RR 1.2 rim is a 30mm deep rim that allows lighter riders to build up their favorite 24-hole hub into a strong and reasonably aero wheel. Track riders can use this with abandon on any velodrome. This can work as a great wheel for those who find average wheels flexing too much. The 1.2 is also a Clydesdale-class rim that slices the wind. Just know that adding spokes, the wheel gets stronger but less aero.

The DT RR 1.2 rim comes in 24, 28, and 32 drillings. There are no eyelets on the spoke holes. The ETRTO dimensions are 622 x 15. The rim is 19.5mm wide by 30.3mm deep. The brake tracks are machined. The rim joint has Strength Boost Welding Technology (SBWT) which means two small sleeves are pressed into the rim ends, the rim is welded than the seam is CNC machined. There are wear indicators in the brake tracks; when they're gone, the rim is getting dangerously thin. The rim color is black. The weight is 585g.
