Many folks fell in love with them for their lightness, and for their belief that a carbon road bar acts in the same way as a carbon fiber fork -- it absorbs road shock to make any bike ride more comfortably. Its carbon construction makes it stiffer, too, which is a big plus when you're climbing or sprinting out of the saddle. The Taperwall design of the the EC90 SLX maximizes your weight savings, while it's use of CNT nanotechnology (the driving principle behind BMC's phenomenal SLT 01 Pro Machine frameset) gives the EC 90 SLX superior fatigue life and impact strength.

The EC90 SLX Equipe has an 140mm drop with a 82mm reach. The drops are anatomic, and the bends are elliptical, which means you can fine tune your lever position no matter the brand -- Campagnolo, Shimano, or SRAM. The ergonomics of the bar make it ideal for either single or double cable routing, again making it ideal no matter what shifters you prefer.

Available in a 31.8mm clamp. Comes in 40cm, 42cm, 44cm, and 46cm center-center.
