Easton's EA70 is an ultralight oversized road stem, featuring fully replaceable chromoly bolts with stainless steel hardware. You don't have to fret about stripping your stem when you remove or adjust your handlebar: All of the EA70's faceplate hardware can be replaced. The EA70 is compatible with any 31.8mm handlebar.

Even if you don't use an Easton handlebar, the EA70 OS is an ideal choice for use with any 31.8mm handlebar. Why? Because stems place two major stress points on a handlebar: Along the edge of the clamp and on the section of bar compressed by the clamping force of the stem bolts. Easton engineers designed the EA70 faceplate to minimize the stress of the stem on the handlebar, which dramatically reduces the chance of bar failure under load.
