The Chorus front derailleur comes with the same anti-friction nickel-plating treatment as the Record version. The cage itself is made from a composition of aluminum different from the previous generation Chorus front derailleur, so you'll notice a modest weight savings. Please note that this derailleur is made to work best with 2006-vintage and earlier Ergopower levers. In 2007 Campagnolo switched to their new QuickShift design. This derailleur will work fairly well with a QS Ergolever. But it really sings best with a 2006-or-earlier lever. 85g. Compatible with Record, Chorus, and Centaur levers.
