The Sidi Ergo 2 is our best selling shoe by a country mile, regardless of price. Its style, softness, and easily customized fit make it the very favorite of pros and slow folks alike. In commemoration of two consecutive World Championship Road Race titles (in Sidi shoes) by Paolo Bettini, Sidi is manufacturing a limited number of Steel-Gold Lux Ergo 2 shoes.

This Bettini version has all of the functionality and technology of the Ergo 2, but it adds a few distinctive aesthetic flourishes beyond its selective use of gold Lorica. The main strap says "Olympic Games Champion" in small lettering beneath the Sidi logo. Along the side of the shoe and on the locking Velcro strap you'll see a subtle Arc en Ciel rainbow, signifying Bettini's World Championship titles. Lastly, on the crankarm side of each shoe you'll see a subtle Bettini signature under a post-modern looking crown with another minimalist rendition of the rainbow colors of World Champion. Like all things Italian & memorable, it's a bit over the top, but somehow despite the richness of it all, it still looks fabulous. Available in sizes 39-48.
