The Rapha Long Sleeve Jersey is as high-tech as any synthetic jersey, especially because it uses wool. Sportwool to be specific. This souped-up yarn starts with the ultimate in old skool jersey comfort, Merino wool, and has polyester and Elastane mixed to make it wick, stretch, hold form, and wash better than traditional Merino. No more worries about care. Just treat it like any other cycling garment, but thanks to the wool, it can be worn several times between washings. This is also a cool-weather Sportwool, heavier than what's found in Rapha's summer jerseys.

The Rapha Long Sleeve Sportwool Jersey has a full-length zipper. The zip can be locked into place by flicking the handle down. There are three rear external pockets. The left and right are cut on a slight bias to make access easier. There's a zip pocket built into the right, which can take an iPod. The device's wires can be run through buttonholes and loops into the jersey, up the inside to the collar. There is a hidden pump pocket in the middle pocket. The bottom hem is adjustable via two cord locks on an elastic cord stitched inside. The Sportwool fiber mix is 26% Merino Wool, 70% polyester, and 4% Elastane.
