The Forma Long Sleeve brings Giordana's Body Clone philosophy into the realm of winter apparel. Body Clone apparel is their most technically advanced -- it's where Giordana reserves the highest quality materials and most advanced construction techniques. The Long Sleeve Forma jersey shares many of the attributes that made the Forma Short Sleeve jersey so well-received. Like the summer Forma, the Forma Long Sleeve is made from Moovix fabric. It uses a winter-specific version known as Moovix HD. Like the summer weight version, Moovix HD is a hollow microfiber that has a lightness and willingness to conform to your body like no other jersey. Most Lycra fabric is constructed in a grid-like weave, making it able to move with your body along vertical and horizontal axes. Moovix has a honeycomb-shaped construction, meaning it can move with your body in any direction you bend. This provides outstanding comfort, and a wonderfully custom-like feel.

Many winter jerseys rely on wind-proof panels and thick layers of insulation in order to provide protection from the cold. While these methods for retaining body warmth work as designed, it can lead to a stiff, cumbersome fit that makes winter jerseys nowhere near as comfortable as a short sleeve jersey. The Forma is an exception. While the Moovix HD provides substantial insulation thanks to its heavier weight in comparison to the summer weight Moovix, it has a lightness of feel that makes it a joy to ride in.

The Forma Long Sleeve uses LE (Liquid Elastic) wrist and waist grippers -- a huge step over conventional elastic, and in comparison to the "gel" grippers now used on many high-end jerseys, they're super-low profile and minimize the localized pressure of such grippers on your skin. It has a 45cm invisible zipper, reflective logos on the front and back, reflective piping on the arms and along the top of the three back pockets, and one additional small cargo pocket with pull tab, flat-stitched seams. It's an ideal choice when the temps are from the mid-40's to 60, and paired with your favorite jacket or vest it'll be an ideal layering items for even colder days.
