If you're racing, you've become accustomed to making sacrifices for weight savings. Whether it be your bar width or rise options, the sub-200g handlebar market can be a murky territory of inadequacy. That is until Ritchey created the SuperLogic Carbon 2X Handlebar. Combining a high tensile strength with a race-worthy hand positioning, the SuperLogic 2X provides all of the tools necessary for the highest echelons of trail riding.
Ritchey's SuperLogic 2X handlebar features a broad 680mm stance. Pretty impressive considering that its weight comes in around a feather-light 155g. We'll tell you with confidence that you'd be hard pressed to find another bar with this pedigree. Even more difficult is to find one with a remotely close stiffness-to-weight ratio. This is due to Ritchey's proprietary resin system that increases both rigidity and fatigue life as the grams decrease. This is an obvious perk, but the proof is in the pudding -- or in this case, the ride quality. Mating the tried-and-true SuperLogic carbon fiber construction with +/- five degrees of rise and nine degrees of sweep, Ritchey created a heightened level of comfort for tall head tube frames. The rise is low enough to keep you aggressively positioned, while the carbon absorbs trail chatter and vibration. End result? A handlebar that's equally as race-ready as it is practical. No more sacrifices.
And expanding the Super Logic's versatility is a new feature to 2013 -- the 2X design. This allows you to run the bar with either a positive five degree rise, or a negative five degree rise, while maintaining the same nine degrees of sweep. So, you can aggressively position yourself for XC on Saturday, and flip the bars over for comfortable handling on an all-mountain Sunday.
The Ritchey SuperLogic 2X Handlebar is available in the color Black and in a 680mm width. It has +/- five degrees of rise and nine degrees of sweep. Please note that this handlebar is only compatible with 31.8mm clamp diameter stems.
