To enter a new realm of weight reduction, Race Face pushed the Next Riser Handlebar's diameter to 35mm. The added 3mm allowed Race Face to reduce unnecessary material, which not only means less weight, but better dampening too.

Constructed from a unidirectional carbon fiber, which incorporates a composite leading edge for increased strength, the Next Riser weighs a feathery 180 grams at its full 760mm width. Those specs place the Next at the top of the carbon-bar food chain, but that's not the only reason: Ergonomics plays a big part too.

Rightfully, Race Face specs an eight-degree rearward and five-degree upward sweep to place your hands where they need to be for maximum comfort and control. The Race Face Next Riser Handlebar comes in two rises, either 10mm or 20mm, and in the color Black.

How much abuse can these bars sustain?
Are they fit for all mountain, or are they only recommended for more XC / trail riding?

Responded on

These are pretty stout bars and they can handle the abuse of Enduro riding for sure, I know a couple that I ride with that use them for other things besides XC and they hold up very well. This is an Awesome bar for everything you are going to be getting into.
