Like em' alot!
Read a DIRE review where the supposed reviewer claimed ill fit and blisters. Bought and tried these anyway and they are great! Got the size small (I'm 5'3" 115lbs) and they work well. Maybe a little back of the leg padding woulda been nice, but otherwise fantastic. Tried Fox men's pads first - but they were way too long. These are perfect.
The fit can't be beat
I happily traded in my Fox Launch pads for these after demoing them. Not only do they stay in place incredibly well, they are also really, really comfortable. They're designed to fit the shape of a woman's calf (which is different than a man's, no matter what the girth), and while the men's version of this pad does a decent job, it's the women's that really goes above and beyond in terms of fit. It's nice to not have to settle for "good enough."
Race Face Armor Fit Guide
I tried on men's medium race face leg armor...
I tried on men's medium race face leg armor and it was very tight above the knee and calves. My calves measure in a medium but I worry that the women's will be too tight for my since the men's didn't fit. Are the women's larger above the knee? Or should I go with the men's large?
Ah Man :(
Well I'm bummed out cause I really wanted to support Race Face and their efforts for womens gear. However, these leg gaurds fit way wider than most guys leg gaurds. The length was good, the width was HUGE (medium size). I maxed out the velcro. My legs are avarage and Im 5"8' 140. I tried on a few and bought the Troy Lee Designs Signature Lopes which fit perfect and stay on real good- its a great option for girls.
I am so happy to see women's body armour! I purchased both the small and medium because I wasn't too sure about the fit, but went with the small. (I am 5'4", around 125 lbs) I took one spill riding the Bobsled trail in Utah and I didn't even feel it on my knees. Not a scratch or bruise the next day. Also they are comfortable to wear on longer rides for leg armour and not too hot.
