Be a wattage cottage.

After a long morning of slugging it out for predetermined sprint points and digging for a few extra seconds on the one coveted climb of the day, it's comforting to know your GSP-specific Quarq Riken AL Power Meter Crank Arms were right there with you to carefully document every moment. Their +/- 1.5% accuracy window means you can rest assured that you're getting the right readings to keep your training on track. Trade out the chamois for comfy pajamas, mix a recovery drink, nom on your favorite burrito, and upload your files for accurate workout analysis after every ride.

To address the pesky problem of temperature changes wreaking havoc on power readings, Quarq adds its 10K temperature compensation technology for consistent measurement regardless of temperature. Conquer high mountains or venture out into the blazing summer sun with confidence that your ride files will accurately measure every watt you put into the pedals without any mid-ride recalibration stops.

The Riken AL an AxCad accelerometer to measure cadence and eliminate the need for unappealing magnets interruptin clean frame lines. An LED light on the face of the spider provides feedback for setup, and ANT+ ID lets the power meter recognize your specific head unit for quick installation and easy operation, even in a pack of other power meters. While we can't recommend taking any power meter swimming, the Riken AL crank arms do have an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning they'll survive submersion in up to one meter of water for 30 minutes in case you overcook a corner and take an unplanned dip in a roadside stream.

This version of the Riken AL is only compatible with GXP bottom brackets, but all Riken AL crank arms are compatible with 10-speed Shimano chainrings and 10- and 11-speed chainrings from SRAM, Rotor, FSA, Praxis, WickWerks, and more. They also pair wirelessly with ANT+ head units to record data and save files for review on your favorite training data analysis software. The Quarq Riken AL Power Meter Crank Arms run on a standard CR2032 battery for a claimed battery life of over 300 hours of ride time.

When it says will only work with gxp bottom brackets, does that mean it won't work on a bike with a bb30 bottom bracket shell and praxis or similar bb30 to gxp converters?
