Tubes: Gotta have em'

If you aren't running tubulars or tubeless, chances are you need new tubes on hand during a training ride. Stock up on the 700c x 18-23 Q-Tubes to keep in your seatpost pack or your commuting panniers so you can play 'Good Samaritan' on the bike path. They're produced by Kenda for QBP so you know they're high quality and will work just fine in your bike. The presta valve stem is 48mm long and should allow easy inflation with most low profile semi-aero rims.

does the job

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

a tad heavy and bigger than my usual tubes, but $6 cheaper per tube for the 80mm stems that Im used to using. Life is always a trade off.

Solid Tube

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a great value for a road bike tube. For the price it's easier having more around than it is to patch a flat.

Works real good

Keeps air as a tube should. Havent had any defective valves that I've seen happen with some other brands. With the 80mm valve stem option, you can run them with deep dish wheels like Zipp 404s and not have to run annoying valve extenders.

its a tube

it actually works really well, very durable, ive been running these tubes for a few months now and have only had 1 flat, and finally deciding to get some extras.

Cheap. Quality. Everyday tubes.

I've been using these and purchasing them from backcountry for a couple years now. They roll easy and are quite durable. Only flats I've had have been from staples and nails, ZERO pinch flats! I also like that they always have 48, 60, and 80mm valve lengths available. Give them a try!

Thanks for the review Sterling! Super helpful to get this feedback out to the community.

i mean they're tubes

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

They work. They hold air. They're not super light or super fuzzy or have glitter and sparkles. It's a simple item for a simple job. Chapeau for making something that works.

save some $

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

$12 at the store, $9 here (on sale). not much else to it.

not bullet proof, and not made of paper thin rubber, so average flat protection.

my only gripe is that the 80mm stem is a full $2 more than the 60mm.

Value Tube

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Go to tube for the most bang for your buck. Always keep a stack of these on hand and few on bike.

It's a tube!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

They do the job of holding air admirably, and the valve core is removable if you want to use some sealant (handy when the goat's heads get bad here in Utah!)

I buy a ton every once in a while and never have issues. Fit is great, they hold pressure well, they are durable and inexpensive. I love when these go on sale and I can take home 20.
